Florie also known as Florie Naomi is a St. Louis based Nigerian-American singer-songwriter, multidisciplinary artist, and creative entrepreneur. A performer since childhood, she began her music career as a member of the sibling trio band
N-Jection, signed to Storm Records in 2007, and released the group’s debut album Never 2 Late. Her early career included performances and appearances across Nigeria, the United States, and multiple press tours and TV appearances in South Africa, including opening for artists such as Wizkid, P-Square, and D’Banj.
Today, Florie is building her career as a solo artist, creating Afrobeats and Afro-fusion music with atmospheric, experimental, R&B and pop influences.
Alongside her music, she is the founder of Floriescence, a creative media and entrepreneurship hub, and the creator of Artists for Artists STL, a community platform connecting St. Louis artists across music, film, fashion, dance, visual art, and other creative disciplines.
Based in St. Louis, Florie brings together music, culture, creative direction, her skills as a photographer, digital marketing leadership and entrepreneurship to build spaces where artists can create, connect, and grow.
